Target Prescription Bottles

So often excellence in packaging design is overlooked until someone decides to change it. The Target prescription bottles (now being eliminated due to CVS’s takeover of Target’s in-store pharmacies) were designed in a shape that was easier for people to hold and open, the color-coded rings helped families with prescriptions for multiple members easily identify which medicines belonged them, and the writing was larger and an in easier to read typeface than competing products, reducing risk of dosage errors.
